I'm an editor leading a team of investigative journalists that cover the American South using data and open records.

Hi! I'm Charles Minshew and I'm the Senior Editor for Data Journalism at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Before that, I was the Director of Data Services for Investigative Reporters & Editors and an adjunct instructor at the Missouri School of Journalism.

I've also been a data reporter and graphic artist at the Orlando Sentinel. I'm an alumnus of both the Missouri School of Journalism and Georgia Southern University. In 2012, I was on the staff of The Denver Post that won a Pulitzer Prize.
